FIVE FOR BRIDGE

Number five fell out of the closet where the bridge table was stored, and nobody knew who it was. That's the set-up. The cozy little party occurred on Sutton Place, New York, and the people living in the adjoining apartments were all drawn into the picture. There was plenty (too much) false clueing, and the final solution, supplied by the police captain, picked the unlikeliest of the lot. Not fair to reader.
