THE GLORIOUS PRESENCE

A new examination of the ancient, pantheistic Hindus' lore of life, the Vedanta Philosophy, based on the belief that the universe of our experience is only one reality, but a reality that can be known. The present study is based on the Vedanta-Sutras of Badarayana and the commentaries of the famous Indian philosopher Shri Shankaracharya whose series of meditations, Ode to the South Facing Form, as translated by the author, are included. Comparison is made between the Vedanta Philosophy and the philosophies of such Western thinkers as Locke, Kant, Schopenhauer. Limited market.
