KIRKUS REVIEW

Head and shoulders above other Westerns, this story of the fight for the extermination of Ha Street, whose dance balls and saloons reap the cowboys' money. The two powers of the respectable people and the rowdy element -- combine to appoint Mitchell as Marshal, who eventually cleans up Race Street. Outstanding for believable plot and topnotch writing.
