P was John's dog and when John wanted to build Pogo a house of his own, he set about it by going to the carpenter for lumber. The carpenter sent him to the woods, and from that point on he learned, step by step, the story of lumber, -- the cutting down of trees, the work in the lumber camp, in the saw mill etc. Told in brief test and pictures for eight and nine year olds.
