BEN FRANKLIN

The significant events of Ben Franklin's life are dramatized for the independent reader in the primary grades. Among the concerns of this little volume are his boyhood days in Boston, his disagreement with James and his move to Philadelphia, his avid reading interests, his work as a civic leader, the kite experiment and his two trips to France. The facts are offered in terse simplified form and impressively reinforced through James Caraway's eye catching illustrations in two colors. A good choice for introductory purposes.
