THE LITTLE RED DRAGON

Once again a story of Chinese life, told with a certain charm and a quiet pace that seems in keeping with the characters and background. The characters in The Tangled Web appear again in another story in which , now called Chang, as the adopted son of the old potter, falls under suspicion of attempted theft and betrayal of trust. He is thrust out- and has an adventurous few weeks before he returns to give his foster father the taliaman, the little red dragon and then discovers that his honesty had been proved- and his place once more secure.
