Mrs. Peregrine and the Yak was one of our favorites last Fall. Now comes the sequel, which has a timely note in the tie-up with the New York World's Fair. Of course, Mrs. Peregrine would want to go to the Fair; and of course, she would find a way to give others some of the fun (and thereby have more fun herself). This is not as original as the story of the Yak, but it is fun, and the pictures by Eloise Wilson are delicious. This story is distinguished from every other book, so far encountered, dealing with the Fair, in that the author studiously avoids mentioning anything remotely educative. Sheer entertainment value! A lot of book for the money.
