PLAYLAND PONY

A gentle little story for the sandbox set about a Playland (of the summer resort variety) and a Pony Ride pony, named Ginger. All the children loved the Merry-Go-Round, the airplanes, the children's roller coaster, the tiny Ferris wheel. But most of all they loved riding the ponies, and every child liked Ginger the best, because she really loved to give them rides. One day, however, Ginger went away and all the children missed her. But Ginger did come back, with a wonderful baby pony. Bright illustrations in two and four colors by Mary Miller Salem, but children might well like more detailed drawings for a closer look at the Playland wonders.
