Alice and Mother went to the zoo. Mother would not tell Alice what was new at the zoo. But when they arrived Alice enjoyed the surprise. A new Children's Zoo was opening, with baby animals. On each page with Alice, the reader meets a new baby animal, -- lions, bears, an elephant and a rhinocerous. And Alice lost her hair ribbon as well as her heart to the baby chimps. The format introduces the animal names with pictures above for better word recognition and retention. This little story should find enthusiasts easily.
