KIRKUS REVIEW

So far as I know, this has not been done before, in a form that the amateur, as well as the experienced farmer can use, day in, day out. In alphabetical arrangement, this is a guide for meeting the emergencies that arise with farm animals, poultry, etc. Under the individual heading comes first a definition, then a description of the symptoms (provided it is a disease), then first aid procedure. There is not only emergency aid, but factual information on hundreds of subjects.
