KIRKUS REVIEW

A simple, understandable book on the fine points of baseball. The author -- an ex-big-league player, takes up each position and tells how it should be played. He explains the technique of outstanding pitchers. He goes into defensive baseball, into hitting and getting runs, on various plays. Well written, simple enough for boys, and constructive enough for coaches.
