FREER'S COVE

Daisy, pregnant after her shortlived marriage breaks up, accepts the circumstantially offered chance to come to term at Freer's Cove where Amos' wife Joan is supposed to deliver at about the same time. If at all -- she has miscarried twice. But then there are the other Freers -- dour Ernest whose wife left him and whose only child was accidentally (?) killed; and sister Frances who has three youngsters -- one almost dies now, another does. And there's worse ff not better to follow so you'll no doubt enjoy it. Taxonomically it's the first of its kind -- baby pink Gothic.
