KIRKUS REVIEW

In Mexico to do an article on the matadora Carmen Ortega, Gloria Manning finds nothing but praise for her subject; finds also romantic feelings for Terry Leith, who has picked her up at Chapultepec Park. But Carmen disillusions her about Terry's dependability and to revenge Carmen's Jilting, Gloria sets out to humiliate Terry. Love takes hold and it is only the revelation of Carmen's duplicity that finally pushes Gloria into Terry's arms. Tourist values for the familiar paces.
