KIRKUS REVIEW

Hey, sleepy head,/ get out of bed./ Wake up,/ it's spring! . . . Spring is yellow,/ spring is green,/ and every color/ in between,"" chirps the insistently exuberant doggerel while yellow daffodils, toothy kids, peepers, geese and ice cream men all hustle to greet the new season. Self-readers might be the most amenable to the mood of manic mindlessness as this ""silly song of spring"" gushes along in the wake of Plink Plink and Crunch Crunch.
