KIRKUS REVIEW

Rules and reassurances, written in the first person as if by members of a kindergarten class who announce the loss of their baby teeth (""It didn't hurt a bit""), report on their first visits to the dentist (""It didn't hurt a bit""), and remind their peers about brushing and check-ups and proper diets. Illustrated with widely beaming child-like drawings, it won't hurt Head Starters preparing for the dentist -- but then a resourceful teacher might do just as well on her own.
