KIRKUS REVIEW

There is something ominously reminiscent of the old style Christmas annuals in the paper and layout of this book which belies the really good content. Through actual adventures and true stories of animals, facts of their habits, how they feed, how they live, and so on are told. About fifty animals, most of them creatures of the wilds are included. A book for reference, perhaps, rather than continuous reading.
