REASON AND REVELATION IN THE MIDDLE AGES

Philosophers listen when Gilson speaks, especially the Roman Catholics. Professor of Philosophy at the College de France and Director of the Institute of Mediaeval Studies at the University of Toronto, Gilson is a man well known, widely travelled and ably qualified to write on this subject as he is undoubtedly the foremost authority on the middle ages today. Like many great men Gilson writes with lucidity and a fine simplicity so that scholar and layman will find this interesting and enlightening reading on the growth of Western philosophy through the Greek, Mediaeval and Modern phases. It is a small book but a valuable contribution so mention it to your customers and make some neat additional sales.
