MR. SANDEMON LOSES HIS LIFE

Paul Craine, footloose would-be-author, again exuberantly butts into a murder case, despite the admonitions of his close friend, Rocco, of the Brooklyn police force. An underworld go-between and petty gambler are done in, and gamblers, small time crooks, and hausfraus, with ambulating morals, are the suspects. Paul and his faithful girl friend, Betty, unearth odd clues, fix up a solution, which proves to be wrong. Cagey plot with effervescent dialogue.
