KIRKUS REVIEW

Good twist with incompetent amateur neatly thwarting Brooklyn police in trying to solve two murders, and seeing his prized solution shot to pieces by hardworing, friendly-enemy policeman. The breeziness of dialog is a bit overdone, but it is an entertaining yarn.
