MYSTERY OF THE CARROWELL NECKLACE

A group of cousins fit together their separate pieces of the clue directing them to a buried heirloom diamond necklace. The valuable prize fails to add suspense to the commonplace word game. The four participants include 12 year old Lou Carrowell, her southern-belle contemporary, 13 year old Joe, and his handsome older brother, who are all vacationing at their great-aunt's Florida estate. A standard situation with insipid characters, all wrapped up with a smug moral about cooperation.
