MY MISSION IN LIFE by Eva Peron

MY MISSION IN LIFE

By

Publisher: Vantage

Published two years ago in Argentina under the title La Razon de mi Vidu the official credo of Argentina's famed first lady now comes to the United States. Roughly Evita's ""thesis"" falls into three parts; the causes behind her mission, her relationship with the workers, and the championing of womens' rights. Throughout, her writing is characterized by superchaged series of short paragraphs and sentences, laden with reiterations of the Peron doctrine- the importance of the people, universal love, justicialism, self giving, and the glory of sun-like, god-like Peron. There is little or nothing of the ""how"" these things are to be achieved; no clear picture of the actual program so far. Where she has voiced herself most clearly is in relation to Argentine women, who should have more freedom, but the overall tone is an emotionalized statement of the only good she believes in for all men- and that is Peronism.
