The race tracki These well-written rambles with characters like Fred Dunbar, Will Broderick, Old Tom and horses like Stamina hold the same subtle fascination as those two magic words. It is a sporting story, sporting characters and animals, too. Full of red blood and spirits it gives a keen picture of the great American trotting track. A grand book for men, the kind every sportsman loves to get his teeth into. I am all the more enthusiastic because this author knows his horses. To the market there is no limit because race fans are everywhere and often where you least expect to find them.
