KIRKUS REVIEW

Surrounded by 70 of her photographs of Marilyn, 21 in color (most not seen by Kirkus), here is a ""loving retrospective"" of the screen star by a leading photojournalist. Arnold's splendid photos capture the quintessence of Marilyn, sexy, shy, lost; her prose, including the occasional gossipy tidbit and some intriguing photography lore, remains on a fanzine level. Sumptuous, but for Marilyn fans only.
