KIRKUS REVIEW

Here's a photo album where every toddler, nursery schooler and Headstarter will find himself--riding through the supermarket, greeting Daddy at the door, rock-a-bye-babying a doll, building with blocks, scaling the jungle gym, blowing out birthday candles. The rhymed (but not rigged) text provides a running caption; mostly the focus is on you, in from one to five snapshots per activity, and you're all sizes and shades and shapes. A few niceties: little boy tending a doll, not-so-big brother riding very little sister on his trike, a jungle gymkhana from apprehensive beginner at bottom to intrepid climber on top. Instant recognition, instant conversation--on bright red pages for instinctive attraction.
