THE TALE OF TAI

The author of Wu and Lu and Li has given us another small Chinese character in a rather charming story in pictures and text, of the misadventures of little Tai at the fair on New Year's Day. The pictures in soft warm coloring, the beautiful type face and the general format (squarish, slightly larger than pocket book size, bound in cloth) make this a pleasing book, though not particularly original.
