A number of the facts about the life of this Baptist who was professor of theology, scholar, writer and preacher are assembled in this book. It reveals Robertson as an interesting man, although the book lacks the challenge of a creative biography. The background of Robertson's early life is given, his schooldays, his participation in the Whitsitt controversy, his part in the Baptist World Alliance, his travels in Europe, his character as a teacher. Robertson, the author of 40 books, is chiefly famous for his Greek grammar of the New Testament. There is a chapter containing his pithy sayings and also one giving estimates of him by other people.
