KIRKUS REVIEW

English setting for the murder of a young girl which crime reporter, Toby Dyke, goes to work on. It involves a decadent divorcee, the care of her child, blackmail and a secret marriage, while a few scientists and dissipates clutter up the scene. Fairly involuted -- with many a sidetrack. Average to good reading.
