KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a very simple, straight -- forward retelling of the story of the miracles at Fatima, designed apparently for children of the Catholic faith, but it will be of interest to adults as well, for the story of the events which have so stirred Portugal and the entire Catholic world and which have made Fatima a famous shrine is told without theological or ecclesiastical embellishment. The three children (Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta), whose visions created such a sensation, are portrayed as the real peasant children they were and the effect of their experiences upon them and their families is vividly set forth. Devout Cathelics will find this a suitable book to read aloud to their children.
