KIRKUS REVIEW

A delightful book for young boys who might not read the Bible avidly, but who, after reading the adventure of The Boy Who Changed His Name might want to read the parable of the prodigal son and after reading ""What Can You Do With a Dollar"" would really understand the parable of the talents This he would find it extremely easy to do, for the Bible text is printed immediately after the modern paraphrase for children for these and several other Bible stories. The format is attractive, the illustrations graphic and amusing and many parents will doubtless be glad to put this little book into the hands of their inquiring children who are just discovering that they like to read. Mr. Dignam is an Episcopal clergyman who knows the mind and heart of the very young.
