BUILDERS OF OUR NATION

This is actually a biographical dictionary of characters in our history, from Columbus to Lincoln. Its value depends so much on the format that I hesitate to do more than report that the individual brief biographies are factually right, and written with enough sense of the dramatic to give a flash of interest beyond the routine chronology of the average reference volume. The arrangement is chronological, with some inevitable overlapping.
