KIRKUS REVIEW

. . . has far to go? Well, not too far in that gracious small town of Little Oxford and another pleasantly socializing story about the people. Particularly another New Girl in Town, Sara, who comes there with her failing grandmother, Mrs. Allen, and is the protegee of young matron Katie Palmer who tells this story which eventually comes down to just whom will Sara marry, steady Sam or uncertain Paul? Once again, Little Oxford seems like a nice place to live and the perfect one to have your hair done in.
