NO PRIVATE HEAVEN

Fairly fancy romantic runabout for Abby, shy and sheltered, when she defies her father -- who is something out of granite --and elopes with Barry. Her father, after intimidation fails, goes on to reprisal and marries a girl just Abby's age, Val, who had once made a play for Barry and continues to do so. And Barry, just in time to save his marriage, puts a stop to a deliberate attempt to alienate him from his wife. The glamour as before, even if pretty phoney as to plot.
