KIRKUS REVIEW

The glamoured, golden touch for the story of Gail, a model, who with the sad memory of her mother's marriage in mind, gives up unreliable Sam Meredith to marry steady Brad Spencer- not for his money (twenty million) but for security. Knowing that Gail does not love him, Brad still finds half a loaf better than none, holds his own against the recurrent reappearances of Sam and of Gail's blackmailing father, and eventually wins her love not for his money- but in spite of it. Practise making just about perfect rentals.
