Of Terry Austin, beautiful but broke, and her deliberate intentions not to worker to marry a poor man. Falling in love with Chris Russell, presumably a sugar scion, Terry thinks that she has found all she wanted, and only after her marriage discovers that he's a penniless, professional playboy. Months of sponging prove strenuous, and they return to Chris' native Hawaii and the relatives who had discriminated against him. There Terry helps him to win book his self-respect, and that of his family and to prove his love for her... The allure as before.
