Professional student or academic scrounger Adrian Withers goes to an Indiana Catholic girls' college to give a lecture but stays on to take over the classes of a professor who may have disappeared with a student. A traffic in narcotics, rather than a romance, affiliates the two and Withers conducts his investigation from beatnik hangouts to more hallowed grounds... Some scapegrace to saucy humor compensates for the flimsy criminal aspects of the case.
