This ""marriage manual for Catholics"" runs the usual gamut of subjects: the nature of love and of marriage, engagement and marriage, sexual and emotional harmony in marriage, the significance and responsibilities of parenthood, and the overall spirit which should permeate the Christian home. Neither the content of the book nor its presentation warrant that it be described as anything more than a good, sound exposition of traditional teachings -- in a field where there already exist at least thirteen good, sound expositions of traditional teachings.
