KIRKUS REVIEW

A feminine, first person account of murder in Greenwich Village, New York, this is told by Kathy, a would-be mystery writer, whose room-mate, actress Iris, has stolen her fiance. Iris asks for it when she gets their third room-mate, Bonnie, bounced from her modeling job, and demands they evacuate so that she can have the apartment. Iris winds up dead -- and Captain Steele has trouble disentangling silly secrets to save silly necks. Theater, plays, and more of Iris' general and assorted bitchery add up to a bouncy and bright tale.
