This should have an adult market as well as juvenile, for it is the best collection of stories of rescues at sea that has appeared. The exploits date back to 1898, and come up to the present, and many are within even boys and girls knowledge -- the Vestris and the Morro Castle. Through the stories runs a good deal of information, -- the changes in signals, in international law, in equipment for rescue and in training regulations. The author spares no one, when blame is due. Good reading.
