THE TALL BOOK OF NURSERY TALES

Reported as follows on P. 470 of the 10/15 bulletin for Fall publication:- ""Companion volume to Tall Mother Goose which launched a series to which annual editions will prove endlessly welcome to the trade. Librarians have some trouble with the odd shape and size, but have come to accept it as a ""table"" book! Rojankovsky combines a keen sense of the story value of his drawings with an understanding of the things small children enjoy, fine artistry and a glowing sense of color. His children and animals are irresistible. The selection of nursery tales is excellent -- twenty tales keyed to the understanding of five, six and seven year olds.
