Johnny Malone, of My Father's Badge, in another dose of leadstroke, when as Detective Third Homicide West, he witnesses a double-killer in a murder and holds down a hot spot on the dockside, tracking down a syndicate. He learns to grow out of being a hero all by himself as he runs out of time trying to finger the new boss of the longshoremen and the frame on him gets hotter. Melodrama of the breathless and sleepless school.
