THE CREEPY THING

It's over so fast there's no need to take it home, but then it's probably good for a few reruns. The creepy thing, which is green on otherwise black-and-white pages and resembles a moplike clump of grass (or maybe a wild green wig), is hooked by a little boy fishing in a river. He tosses it away and starts to play his harmonica, but picks up interest when the thing begins to dance to the music. That night the thing creeps from the little boy's fish basket and out of his window. . . thence to fly about terrorizing the townspeople until, amid fleeing crowds and armed police, the little boy arrives to tame it with his harmonica. Typical Krahn antics, just mock-creepy enough to give the comedy a kick.
