ART TREASURES OF THE UFFIZI AND PITTI

A newly designed and reissued edition of a volume for which the selection of paintings has been made, the commentary and text written by the former Soprintendente of the museums and galleries of Florence, Arezzo and Pistoia. A history of the collections and of Italian art represented is followed by a picture section in chronological order. There are 113 reproductions which include 60 color plates, many with gold as in the originals, and 53 monochromes in gravure.
