Primitive peoples made use of basic scientific principles which are just as applicable to modern society. In this companion volume to The Indians Knew, The Pilgrims Knew and The Chinese Knew the authors combine science and anthropology in a most ingenious way. The Eskimos knew that they could keep food from spoiling by freezing it. Today modern freezers appear everywhere.
