THE HOUSE OF MANY TONGUES

Another Lynn Gerrow story, a continuation of The Mounted Falcon. Lynn, a young American college graduate, stays on in Prague in a demanding job concerning the problems of the university students after the World War. Lynn has a faculty for getting into hot water, for bringing adventure upon herself -- and at the same time a capacity for human contacts, for real building character, that makes these stories (which I suspect have an autobiographical base) good inspirational reading for thoughtful girls, who are beyond the conventional juvenile.
