KIRKUS REVIEW

Twenty-three non-royalty family comedies for schools and young people's groups. Unfortunately these twenty-three are concerned with the doings of the same family -- Fred and Agnes (parents), Ruby the maid, Bud (17), and Billy (8). Innocuous family humor of the Aldrich variety, and just as subject to nauseous interpretation. Mildly funny situations, small cast and simple set requirement may be points in favor. However, because of the recognizable characterizations, there is not too much scope for acting ability. These do have their place, however, in laboratory classes, teaching elementary stage technique. Best in content for junior high.
