KIRKUS REVIEW

Thinly veiled mystery to carry a rich diet of factual material, in another story about Jon and Judy, brother and sister of last year's Summer at Yellow Singers. While their anthropologist parents study the culture of the Navaho Indians, the children keep up their own friendships, and go off adventuring on their own. The story bogs down from time to time in details of fascinating ritual and custom of the New Mexican background and one wonders if the average child can be persuaded to read it.
