A very long, fairly interesting book about love, starting with a rather involved definition and ending with a platitude. In between are case histories of famous lovers, and others of anonymous loves, furnishing a variety of examples to prove her thesis. It's fun to know how the other fellow gets along, but the manner of presentation is that of a doctor's thesis, thorough, over-servious, needs a bit of blue pencilling. Emphasizes importance of young people studying human relations. Sex not the main theme --love is treated in the broader sense.
