Sebastian the spider, about to flunk web-spinning at school (he may even have to go in the summer), is granted a special dispensation (no final exam) when a Big Spider Eater gets tangled in his unorthodox web. A tenuous take-off, to say the least, and long drawn out; the spinning songs at the close are sprightly if equally trite.
