KIRKUS REVIEW

A brisk biography of the great campaigner for women's rights, for equalization of woman's status with men, in law, in business, in marriage, through revision of the country's laws. She departed from her Quaker background, became a famous figure of her times, and was noted for her fighting courage. Interesting supplementary reading that provides good background material for schools and libraries.
