KIRKUS REVIEW

A hackneyed mystery tells how some boys find an Indian treasure, and it may prove its worth if only as a weaner from comic books. Searching around for a new club-house site, Bob and his Explorer's Club pals are asked one day by Indian Jim, the terse caretaker of the state park near their home to help clean up Star Point Island, in the park. This proves the more exciting as Jim's unsubstantiated claims that his tribe once lived there have made him the crosspatch who prevents the boys from building their cabin on the island. But when the boys find a cave and relics, everything's okay.
